The standard socket wrench set is used
for most household and American
vehicle repair. The sockets are measured
in inches rather than the
metric socket sets that are measured a
different way. The metric bolts and
standard bolts are different and are not
interchangeable. The sockets
cannot be interchangeable as well. There
is a big different in the sizes
and the bolt heads. If you would try to
use a metric on a standard
bolt head, it would not fit. If you try
to use a standard socket on a
metric bolt head, it could become
